ARCPOH Projects

Staff at ARCPOH are involved in numerous ongoing research projects. These projects reflect varying oral health and epidemiological perspectives and applied research on the provision of dental health services and revolve around the distribution and determinants of oral health, burden and impact of oral disease, testing the efficacy/effectiveness of population oral health interventions, oral health services and labour force research, and oral health policy analysis.

National Child Oral Health Survey

The purpose of the National Child Oral Health Survey is to investigate the impact of dental disease in child populations in Australia. By doing this we hope to identify means of preventing tooth decay and describe outcomes from children’s dental services.
