Dr Sutee Suksudaj

Sutee

Dr. Sutee Suksudaj has his Bachelor degree in Dentistry and Master of Public health from Thailand’s leading Universities. He started his career as a community dentist, then a Tutor in faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University Thailand. He was a PBL courses co-ordinator for oral health education, oral health promotion, and community Dentistry. In 2006, he won a Royal Thai Government Scholarship to study for a PhD in ARCPOH.

Sutee is doing research on Thai social capital and oral health-related quality of life. He integrates ethnographic and epidemiologic approaches to understand how social factors could influence oral health and quality of life in Thai rural communities. The research is supervised by Prof. Gary Slade, Mrs. Kaye Roberts-Thomson and Dr. James Taylor.

Dr. Sutee's areas of interest include locally appropriate health promotion programs, oral health-related quality of life, and Buddhism as a social determinant of health.
